SE EN 10279
U sections are utilised for metallic constructions - metallic halls, various metallic fabricates, having a variety of application in the civil and industrial sectors. U sections can be used for shelfsystems, supports, metal frames, machineparts, surroundings, metallic poles, metal beams, and others.
The bars must be straight without bends or strains of the axis. The deviation from rectilinearity for the whole length of the section should not surpass the arch of the admitted curve on meter length multiplied with the length of the section. Local curves are admitted on horizontal or vertical plane, with the arch of maximum 2 mm/m.
The sections must be cut without the bending of the endings and without the visible strain of the section. The burrs resulting from the cutting must not surpass 8 mm.
It is delivered in free bars or in links with a mass of maximum 5 tons.
